6:00PM, Time to warm up
with our Annual Chili Cook-Off. It
will be held at the Water District
Building.
You
are welcome to enter you own chili
in the contest. Bring your chili
in a crockpot of some sort.
Or just come and be a taster and
vote for you favorite chili.
The
categories this year are: Red,
Green, Wildlife, Tastiest, Most
Unusual and the Grand Champion!
The HOA
will provide the beverages,
crackers, chips, breath mints and
prizes. This event is guaranteed
to be fun and delicious.

Cleanup Day, lunch at Water Bldg
after. Need volunteer to
coordinate it. HOA provides
sandwiches, chip and drinks for
those who pick up trash.
Saturday, July 20th,
HOA Picnic, La Veta Park pavilion,
4-6:00 PM, fried chicken and
drinks furnished by Homeowners
Association, bring your favorite
side dish or dessert. We plan to
discuss the possibility of
building our own pavilion on our
HOA lot located on the east side
of 510CR and Navajo Rd.
Tuesday, October
1st, Homemade Soup will
be served with a dessert social at
the Water Board Building. Soup
will be furnished and you are
requested to bring a dessert for
sharing. Donations for the Charity
Jar would be appreciated. A brief
regular meeting will be held.
December meeting,
will be our Christmas party!
Please give us your thoughts on
what you would like to have for a
Christmas Party. Restaurant,
Potluck, Catered? White Elephants
or Toys for Tots or both? This is
your Party, help us plan it.
